There aren’t many books that have me completely sucked in – Sometimes I Lie is definitely one of those books!

Amber wakes up in hospital, unable to move, see or communicate but able to hear everything around her. The mystery of her ending up there unravels as she regains memories of the events before the accident. Fear intensifies as she suspects her husband had something to do with it. And he is often in the room with her alone.

Travelling back and forth from past to present, the story heads down a winding road full of twists and turns – it had me desperately turning pages.

I loved this book, and the writing style had me hooked from the get-go. The characters are so well developed that I felt I knew them personally.

I read a few reviews online where people have said they didn’t understand the plot – it is very clear and left me shocked – it was brilliant and really didn’t expect it. I don’t think I read a twist this good since ‘I LET YOU GO’ by Clare Mackintosh.

I highly recommend this book!
